Hi! I'm Jenn, a horse-riding, coffee-drinking children's book author-illustrator from North Carolina.
I parlayed a degree in fine arts and interior design into creating humorous, lively, mid-century-inspired illustrations for children. If I don't make the reader laugh, I've failed at my job.
I've illustrated picture books, chapter books, and spot illustrations for magazines, working with the wonderful folks at Bloomsbury, Clarion/HMH, Cantata Learning (Capstone), and Highlights Magazine.
When I'm not drawing, you'll likely find me riding a horse called Jack, volunteering at a therapeutic riding program, writing, reading, working a crossword puzzle, wrangling chickens, or searching for my phone.
And yes, I can draw a darn good horse.
