I DRAW FUNNY.
MY CREATIVE compass points toward stories that are delightfully silly, emotionally rich, subversively clever, or a tad irreverent. I harbor soft spots for a well-crafted pun and potty humor.
As an illustrator with a retro-modern style, I combine a passion for midcentury picture books and vintage animation with world-building inspired by studies in journalism and a BFA degree in interior design.
I enjoy working on picture books, middle-grade, and book cover projects and collaborated with Bloomsbury, Clarion/HMH, Cantata Learning, and Highlights Magazine.
When not creating, I spend time puttering on a hobby farm with a menagerie of animals, riding horses, reading, working crossword puzzles, & volunteering with a therapeutic equestrian riding program. Someday, I plan to see the world on horseback.
